The staff was accommodating, and we appreciated the convenience of the on-site shops and tour desk. And our three dogs with us made it even better!
My wife says that a dedicated area for kids to play would be great.

Had a such wonderful stay with my family members, we spent 3 nights here, everything was modern. I ate in the pleasant restaurant for breakfast or dinner which was reasonably priced. Marvellous and lovely location, the free parking was available. Plus it was in a very appealing area...

comfortable stay , but dining experience was disappointing
The two-bedroom apartment was spacious and well-equipped. The location near the beach provided easy access to beautiful sunsets, which we enjoyed every evening. The pool area was a perfect spot for relaxation after a long day out. My kids loved it.
We had issues with dinner service that left us questioning the food safety.

Being able to BBQ our evening meal Staff were helpful and pleasant
It was a long way from the beach Very little sense of being in Broome and at Cable Beach - could have been a suburban street anywhere in Sydney There was no restaurant and no bar and we had not been informed that these had closed It was expensive for what it offered The contrast with the Cable Beach Club where we had stayed before was stark - we were extremely sorry that we stayed at the Grand Mercure instead of at the Cable Beach Club. We did this on the recommendation of a friend who had had the Grand Mercure recommended by the Broome Information Centre. We were misled

This place suits me perfectly! The outdoor swimming pool, free parking, and air conditioning are fantastic. The staff once helped me with an insect bite, which I really appreciated. I'm coming back for a business trip!

There were 2 huge pools, 1 with infinity edge. Pools were clean and space to get away from other guests.
Although the food was quite good, service was slow. Restaurant and pool bar not open every day

The reception staff were very helpful and attended to any enquiries we thank them for this.
The room was not clean we thought we had booked into a good resort. We found a long hair on one of the pillows, a number of hairs in the bathroom, the floors had NOT been vacuumed, the hand basin had not been cleaned, while there was a top and bottom sheet for the doona the doona itself had brown stains on it perhaps a proper cover on it we may not have noticed it, the hot plates on the stove did not work, cultlery in the drawer was still dirty, upon calling reception to report this the next day this matter was rectified the housekeeping manager was informed of the unsatisfactory cleanliness of the unit and after a cleaner being sent in two days in a row Tues and Wed it was better but certainly not perfect, is this because the allotted time for cleaning is not enough???? We met two couples who were staying at the OAKS in Broome who told us that their rooms were clean but their doonas did not even have a bottom sheet (the doona was against their body and was stained with brown marks) they requested proper doona covers and these were supplied. We do not believe that unit 114 was up to the standard of the rating the Oaks offers the curtain in the kitchen had been taken out allowing us little privacy and the lack of fly screens on the doors prevented fresh air entering the room and as the outside temperature was not hot we did not feel it necessary to run the A/C. I would stay again but would request an inspection of the rooms first.

It was quiet and peaceful. I did find the rooms a little tired and in need of a good clean, paint and general maintenance. They were very comfortable rooms.
No restaurant or bar facilities which was not stated on the website when I booked.
